I passed my dissertation defense yesterday morning. Phew!
The upcoming week is jam packed with making some dissertation revisions and packing. The movers come on Friday and I would LOVE to submit my dissertation to the Graduate School before I leave. You probably won't be hearing much from me in the next week, but when I return I hope I have some thoughts on keeping it frugal on the move! Any last minute tips are appreciated!

I would keep that crockpot & maybe an electric skillet &/or that rice-cooker real handy along w/a can opener & some serving spoons for the first few days. Pack them LAST in the car with you.
Also take a change of sheets w/you in an overnight bag, so you can get out your jammers & at least put sheets on the bed first thing when you arrive. You may be too tired later!
Tomorrow's unpacking clothes & shoes are in the bag also along w/some ben-gay & to rub on the sore back/feet then tuck them into some nice toasty cotton socks right after your shower. You'll remember to put your socks/shampoo/conditioner/toothpaste/toothbrush in said overnight bag, won't you? I knew you would. You're so smart Dr. Bean!
Congrats on the big accomplishment and take good care on your move!!

You now have something that only 1% of the US population has. (2000 US Census).
Last minute moving tips are to eat lunch at grocery stores, and keep to a constant speed at the speed limit. (saves on gas and traffic tickets.)
