My AC unit (priced at $75) didn't sell at the yard sale. The Craig's List ad elicited some calls and emails, but no one came to look. So, when a college kid offered me $60, I decided to accept the offer.

    Good for you! I enjoyed your previous post as well. I hope to have a yard sale next month and will definitely use some of your tips. I definitely relate to a lot of things you say here since I am a grad student and struggle with lots of typical grad-student stuff that you have written extensively about. Also, encouraged by you I have started applying for babysitting and pet-sitting jobs. Hopefully this will bring some good results. I appreciate any tips you have. Keep up the good work !!!
